Gosh, I hope this year - he has to leave while he still has his reputation in tact (you know - the party, while it makes more fun to leave) to. It would be a shame to see him try to play more if he does not simply compete with the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
He should come this year in retirement. You have to retire next year.
I think he is only with great difficulty letting go of the game. I believe that if not removed after this year, will throw the NFL or die on the field.
If you have a sense after this season. The Packers are in rebuilding mode. This will take a few years, and Favre would be the same, it would be better for all if said Brett have done bye with grace.
I hope for your sake he is leaving after this season or next season.

Many people seem to respond to information from the scoreboard to see. Geez ... Check out the game before a decision on his ability to play QB at the moment. If Brett should retire ... then we should start a 20 QB in the NFL.

Brett has a lot of people ask the same question. I recently saw an interview with him into retirement, and changes the subject and said that his comrades to move downwards.
He said that this year be the last, but I do not know will do. I am a hard Packers fan and I like Favre, is one of the most important. But if you watched the game today, Phil Simms spoke to Favre last spring and said he would advise you to play all the time, I could, because life after football and for all! Favre noted, and he can still play. Football is so much of his life, I think it is difficult for him to leave, no matter what happens with the team. He left when his father died, or if his wife had cancer, then I think we will leave when he is ready to transition into a life without football. Brett LOVE YA!
